Swap out balsamic glaze in crostata topping with this balsamic reduction with a strawberry kick!
Ingredients
Strawberry Balsamic Reduction
- 1 cup (250 mL) balsamic vinegar
- 3/4 cup (180 mL) diced strawberries
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) honey
- 1 tsp (5 mL) grated lemon zest
- Sea salt, to taste

In small saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil over medium heat while mashing strawberries with fork against edge of pot. Reduce heat and simmer until reduced by half, approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Strain and refrigerate for up to a week in covered glass jar.
